Hewlett-Packard announced the introduction of two supercomputer servers that will enable them to compete with IBM and Cray in the high-end of the market, CDR Info reported yesterday.
The two new systems, HP Apollo 6000 and HP Apollo 8000, are utilizing high-performance computing technology that allows HP to create technology breakthroughs and expand the tech to the enterprise sector.
According to HP, the servers will offer HPC technology that is superior to existing systems while using only half of the energy.
CDR Info reports that a series of announcements from HP on their innovative technologies surrounding the Apollo systems have also been released to help place more attention on their technology systems.
