Computer Sciences Corp. has partnered with SAP to develop a new suite of information technology offerings designed to help businesses migrate IT processes into the cloud with the HANA computing technology.
CSC plans to initially offer its HANA-ready cloud platforms to customers in the social service, financial, engineering and construction sectors, CSC said Thursday.
The cloud portfolio is built to be supported by CSC’s ServiceMesh Agility Platform and seeks to help organizations update, standardize and manage SAP applications, according to CSC.
“Customers expect value to be delivered more securely and quicker than ever, and their IT solutions to be able to move at the pace of business,” said Simon Paris, SAP president of industry cloud organization.
“Building on this investment and the expertise we gained collaborating in the banking industry, SAP is looking forward to working together with CSC in an effort to help more customers adopt industry-based cloud solutions,” Paris added.
The companies also aim to offer software products and services intended to help banks manage regulatory compliance, risks, IT security and application upgrades.
CSC also teamed up with HCL Technologies to establish a center of excellence that will work to help enterprise clients modernize their legacy architectures into cloud-based systems.
