CGI has been awarded an $89 million contract to help the state of Michigan implement a new enterprise resource planning system for managing government business functions.
The company will provide its Advantage ERP platform and Managed Advantage cloud technology to Michigan’s government with the goal of helping state agencies boost operational efficiency, CGI said Monday.
“We are very proud of our selection as Michigan’s technology partner for their critical ERP modernization,†said Daniel Keene, senior vice president of the CGI Advantage Program.
“Through effective collaboration and use of the industry’s most innovative technologies, CGI and the state will work together to improve systems and processes to better serve the people of Michigan,” Keene added.
CGI says it has deployed more than 400 ERP platforms across the governments of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Massachusetts and West Virginia.
The company’s technology also powers ERP systems that are used by local agencies in New York City and Los Angeles County.
