Thales logoThales has named three new executives to leadership posts around the world, including Saudi Arabia, Africa and the export sales unit, Thales said Thursday.

Jean-Yves Tolot has been named vice president for Saudi Arabia where Thales has been active for 40 years, the company said.

Tolot joined the firm in 2008 and most recently served as head of the Africa region.

Christophe Farnaud, previously VP of international relations at Thales and former French ambassador to Greece, will succeed Tolot in the Africa role.

David-Claude Pichavet, former Saudi Arabia lead, has been named VP for export sales where he will be responsible for business development for major projects at the International Development Department.
