NetApp has opened a 155,000-square-foot research and development laboratory in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park to host the development and testing of NetApp’s storage and data management producs.
Rich Clifton, NetApp’s executive vice president of customer success operations, said Friday. that the company opened the laboratory to function as a “global backbone for delivering enterprise-class service and support.”
The engineering facility’s opening also comes as the company marks its 15-year presence in the Research Triangle region.
Also present during the event were Sharon Allred Decker, North Carolina commerce secretary; Harvey Schmitt, Raleigh Chamber of Commerce president and CEO; and Bob Geolas, Research Triangle Park Foundation president and CEO.
