Sarah MacConduibh, vice president of MITRE’s air force portfolio, has been named to the Boston Business Journal’s Mass High Tech Women to Watch list for 2014, MITRE said Monday.
In her role, MacConduibh is responsible for 1,000 technical staff who work on technical priorities for the Air Force.
Some of the focus areas her team works on include command and control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; cyber and information operations; and information technology.
“She has mentored many MITRE employees and others through her volunteer work, while successfully leading highly technical teams to provide solutions for some of the most complex issues facing the military communications community,” said Alfred Grasso, MITRE president and CEO.
According to MITRE, MacConduibh is an Air Force veteran and trained as an electrical engineer.
