Mark Baur Joins EMC as Scotland Channel Development Manager; Martin Brown, Terry Beale Comment

Mark Baur, a 28-year industry veteran, has joined EMC Corp. as channel development manager for Scotland, MicroScope reported Friday.

Simon Quicke writes Baur will be based at EMC’s Livingston site.

He will work to help the company further its channel relationships with resellers and identify key vertical markets in Scotland, according to the report.

Martin Brown, EMC’s country manager for Scotland, said Baur will join a team that is responsible for growing the company’s footprint in the country.

Quicke writes Baur previously worked at Dell, CommVault, Hitachi and NetApp.
