Lockheed Martin’s space systems company has awarded a potential five-year, $50 million contract to Deep Space Systems for technical services in support of Lockheed’s work for commercial and NASA programs.
Deep Space Systems will serve as prime contractor to Lockheed and Intuitive Machines is a teammate of DSS for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Intuitive Machines said Wednesday.
Intuitive Machines will take in up to $10 million over three years and a potential two-year option for engineering and technical services.
The services will be for NASA’s Orion crew vehicle, the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite R- Series program, Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and the Heat Transport and Origins Spectral Interpretation Resource Identification Security Regolith Explorer.
