A joint venture between PAE and construction firm Interserve has won a potential 10-year, $544 million contract to help the U.K.’s defense ministry manage its 469,500-acre National Training Estate and 30 other sites across the country.
Landmarc Support Services will also provide rural estate and land management services to support the ministry’s environmental stewardship and conservation efforts, PAE said Monday.
The contract contains five base years and an option to extend for five additional years.
PAE CEO John Heller said the joint venture will continue its partnership with the U.K’s defense infrastructure organization, an operating arm of the country’s defense ministry.
“For over a decade, the Landmarc joint venture has supported the [DIO] with management and support services that are critical to maintaining the operational tempo of the UK training estate,” said Heller.
Matt Foley, the DIO’s head of future procurement, said the contract is one of six Next Generation Estate Contracts awarded by the organization this year.
Landmarc has been providing the training estate with logistics, operations, maintenance and other services since 2003.
