John Devolites Joins Neustar as Data Services VP; Steve Edwards Comments

John Devolites, formerly general manager of TEOCO Corp., has joined Neustar Inc. as vice president of data services.

Devolites will report to Steve Edwards, senior vice president of data services, and be responsible for Neustar’s order management services, information services and analytics strategy, the company said Tuesday.

“John has a proven track record of applying data analytics to complex carrier challenges and has a thorough understanding of the evolving landscape facing communications service providers,” said Edwards.

Devolites will work to help Neustar transition its public switch telephone network to internet protocol networks.

He previously held leadership roles at Telcordia Technologies as group president and board member to the Federal Communications Commission Network Reliability and Interoperability Council before joining TEOCO.

Devolites previously served as CEO of IOS2 and as global partner at Andersen Worldwide LLP.

He held senior positions at American Management Systems, Alexander Proudfoot PLC and Booz Allen Hamilton.
