Exelis marked its continued partnership with NASA in advancing space exploration with an exhibit at the ongoing Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.
The event highlights 50 years of the agency’s Deep Space Network program, a global network of antennas tasked to communicate with spacecraft missions, the company said Monday.
Exelis provides support in the form of technologies used to operate and maintain the facilities located in Spain, Australia and the United States.
Pam Drew, information systems president at Exelis, said the firm “looks forward to further work as a communications network provider†in support of scientific space discovery.
The Space Symposium, a global commercial, civil and military space conference now on its 30th year, will run until May 22.
