Teradata has opened a new operation in Saudi Arabia in a move to expand the company’s big data market footprint with the public and private sectors in the Middle Eastern country.
Teradata Saudi Arabia LLC will provide analytics, data warehousing and marketing applications services to enterprise customers in the country, Teradata said Tuesday.
Eric Joulie, vice president for South Europe and Middle East and Africa at Teradata, said the company will work with both public and private sector clients to manage and analyze large volumes of data.
Teradata Saudi Arabia will work to assist customers in extracting value from big data, generating business profit with data analytics technology and leveraging big data science for industries.
“We look forward to deeper engagement with customers from both the public and private sectors, and across multiple industries,†said Jamil Jeitani, managing director of Teradata Saudi Arabia.
