Economic Systems has obtained a FedRAMP certification for a cloud computing technology the company built for government clients to ensure the offering complies with security requirements under the FedRAMP initiative.
Knowledge Consulting Group assessed EconSys’ Federal Human Resources Navigator through an auditing and approval process in order to ensure the tool complies with security requirements under the FedRAMP initiative, KCG said Monday.
KCG acts as an independent third-party assessment organization for the federal government-run cloud computing program.
Elizabeth Storley, KCG’s lead FedRAMP assessor, said EconSys designed its software-as-a-service platform to support multiple government clients.
“By securing this FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board authorization, we are able to continue servicing our client base as well as position the company for additional growth,” said George Kettner, president of EconSys.
“KCG served as a great partner to make the review process as smooth as possible,” Kettner added.
