Ciber has been selected by the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board to modernize a records system used for storing data required in monitoring gaming organizations and to provide system migration services.
Under the contract, Ciber will provide project management, develop system requirements, design documents and custom applications, implement user acceptance testing and manage data migration, the company said Tuesday.
“We anticipate that our new system will provide enhanced capabilities that will aid the Board in efficiently managing regulatory reporting and compliance, as well as day-to-day operations,” said A.G. Burnett, chairman of the Nevada GCB.
Ciber will work with 23rd Century to migrate software code from the legacy system and validate or adjust the converted code against state requirements.
According to Brian Haskett, vice president and head of Ciber ‘s application development and management practice, the company will also utilize the Ciber .NET Enterprise Framework to develop the new system infrastructure.
