BlackBridge has received $20.2 million from the Bank of Montreal and the Business Development Bank of Canada to finance the development of the company’s RapidEye+ satellites and the renewal of credit facilities.
BlackBridge said Thursday it plans to use the funds for its geospatial product expansion efforts.
“We are seeking strong long-term partners as we continue to grow our business, and both BMO and BDC provided the financial strength and commitment we were looking for,” said Richard Goode, BlackBridge chief financial officer.
BlackBridge is a Berlin, Germany-based company that provides customers in the aerospace, geomatics and networks industries with satellite, geocloud and imagery technologies.
