Northrop Grumman has appointed Ben Palmer, Jon Anderson and Simon Cooper to business development leadership roles for the company’s Europe and U.K. organization.
The company said Wednesday Palmer will be director of European strategy and business development, Anderson will be director of business development for C4ISR (land, maritime and civil) and Cooper will be director of business development for C4ISR (air).
“These appointments are critically important for our future success in the U.K. and Europe region as we expand our presence, enhance our customer engagement and bring a wider portfolio of capabilities to the market,” said Andrew Tyler, Northrop Grumman’s chief executive for the U.K. and Europe.
Palmer, an OBE and former adviser with AlixPartners, has worked in the defense and aerospace industry for more than 20 years, including five years with BAE Systems and 12 years with the U.K.’s ministry of defense.
Anderson, formerly development director for avionics, electro-optical, deployable infrastructure and communications systems at General Dynamics UK, is also a 20-year veteran of the defense and security industry with stints at Thales and GEC Marconi.
Cooper is strategic electronic warfare campaigns chief at Selex ES and will join Northrop Grumman by the end of June.
