Viscount Systems will supply and deploy $50,000 worth of physical security platforms at facilities run by an unidentified federal agency in California and Louisiana.
The agency ordered Viscount’s Freedom access control system and VeriCert authorization software to monitor access points in buildings, Viscount said Monday.
“As the U.S. government continues to move towards increased security requirements at all federal government facilities, we expect to see additional contract opportunities,” said Dennis Raefield, Viscount president and CEO.
Freedom is designed to link ID cards, radio frequency identification equipment and biometric devices to a site’s standard information technology networks.
