Science Applications International Corp. has been selected to help the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific train sailors on existing and legacy systems under a $35 million multiple-award contract.
SAIC will provide training support services for the SSC Pacific’s systems and tools that are built into various platforms, the company said Thursday.
Tom Watson, SAIC Navy and Marine Corps group senior vice president, said the company will continue to assist the U.S. Navy in training the marines to operate and fix critical systems.
The SSC Pacific manages the Navy’s command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies.
Work will be conducted at SAIC’s San Diego, Calif.-based site for three years.
