Teradata has released a new analytics tool that the company built to both utilize both traditional data warehousing technology and big data systems, ZDNet reported Monday.
Larry Dignan writes QueryGrid was released at the Teradata Universe conference in Prague, Czech Republic.
Scott Gnau, president of Teradata Labs, said customers want insights from data regardless of where it is stored and that QueryGrid does not require new investments to acquire those insights, according to the report.
The company also unveiled the Teradata 15 database and EDW 6750 data warehouse system at the conference.
