Computer Sciences Corp. has rolled out a hosted service intended to help organizations test and protect system applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
CSC’s AppSEC on Demand offering is designed to minimize app security risks as well as comply with government and industry data protection standards, CSC said Wednesday.
The company will assess clients’ application codes, report any vulnerabilities and recommend strategies to manage security.
“Moreover, for our public sector customers, we run AppSEC in secured data centers and securely interface with government networks, providing the ability to service sensitive environments,” said Samuel Visner, vice president and general manager for cybersecurity at CSC.
Hewlett Packard and CSC have partnered to integrate HP’s Fortify managed app security platform and CSC’s incident management and threat intelligence systems.
