A network security tool built by General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions has been recommended by information research and advisory firm NSS Labs for testing of breach detection systems.
NSS Labs rated Fidelis XPS as high in security effectiveness after passing all stability and reliability tests, scoring 100 percent in evasion resistance and having a zero percent false positive rate, Fidelis said Wednesday.
“Detecting malware at the infiltration point is a big issue facing our customers today and the performance of Fidelis XPS in this NSS Labs test showcases our strength at addressing this aspect of the cybersecurity challenge,” said Peter George, president of General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions.
Other test results showed an overall rating of 98 percent for breach detection with 100 percent of exploits, 98 percent of HTTP malware and 98 percent of email malware detected.
