OceanWorks International has delivered additional ocean floor nodes to Harris CapRock Communications for running and maintaining CSnet International‘s offshore communications system.
Scientists work to gather real-time data from seafloor sensors by using the offshore communications backbone infrastructure, OceanWorks International said Friday.
The OceanWorks-built communications system consists of five seafloor nodes that form the seafloor observatory.
OceanWorks International provides both manned and unmanned subsea systems, as well as tools for military, oil and gas, research and marine customers.
