IBMÂ has moved to help customers further extend their mobile technology programs by opening new mobile development collaboration studios worldwide.
The company aims to help developers build and deliver mobile apps while responding to enterprise risks through the MobileFirst program, IBM said Tuesday.
Marie Wieck, general manager of MobileFirst, said IBM wants to help clients grow their businesses through the company’s mobile platform, apps and studios.
IBM’s MobileFirst application development portfolio comprises of the Worklight, Cloudant and BlueMix technologies for users to develop and maintain on-premise and cloud-based mobile apps.
The company also offers Ready Apps for customizing specific apps through the MobileFirst business acceleration portfolio, as well as Ready App for industrial and connected homes.
Customers will be able to monitor business productivity, inventory and store maps in order to scheduled services through IBM’s Ready App for retail, IBM says.
IBM mobile developers, architects and consultants work out of MobileFirst studios in Georgia, Texas, India, China, Massachusetts, Illinois, Germany, the Netherlands, France, the U.K., Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and Canada.
