A joint venture between Jacobs Engineering Group and HDR has been awarded a potential five-year, $60 million contract to provide engineering services to U.S. Navy facilities at various sites worldwide.
The joint venture will work to restore, modernize and maintain the facilities and infrastructure of the U.S. Navy and Defense Department, Jacobs said Tuesday.
Tom McDuffie, Jacobs group vice president, said the company will continue to provide architecture and engineering services for DoD projects through its partnership with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic.
Work also covers NAVFAC areas in the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Western Asia under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
