Informatica has named the finalists across 10 categories for the company’s Innovation Awards competition and will announce the winners at Informatica World 2014, scheduled for May 12 through May 15 in Las Vegas.
“The 2014 Innovation Award finalists exemplify organizations that are transforming their businesses through data—innovating new offerings, delighting customers and beating the competition,” Marge Breya, an Informatica executive vice president and chief marketing officer, said Wednesday.
Award categories are focused on big data, business agility, embedded apps, customer centricity, operational efficiency, app modernization with hybrid IT, enterprise data platform, improved decisions, Internet of Things and governance, risk and compliance.
Companies that were named finalists include HP, Intuit, FedEx, GE Software, Western Union, UPMC, Comcast, EMC Corp., nCino, Landbank of the Philippines, Thomson Reuters and Devon Energy.
