Darien Kindlund, director of research science at FireEye, says that today’s changing threat landscape needs a flexible cybersecurity defense to match.

Kindlund said these new tactics helped FireEye tag the signatures behind some of 2013’s larger attack campaigns, including Operation DeputyDog, Operation Ephemeral Hydra and The Sunshop Campaign.
The company gathered forensic data from the FireEye Dynamic Threat Intelligence cloud to put context behind the attacks, he added.
