Citrix has won a Cloud Innovation Award for the company’s cloud infrastructure framework that is designed for private enterprise workloads.
The awards are sponsored by NetEvents and Citrix was recognized at the NetEvents Cloud Innovation Summit awards dinner March 27 in Los Gatos, Calif., Citrix announced Thursday.
Citrix’s CloudPlatform powered by Apache Cloudstack was chosen in the cloud or datacenter solution category.
Proceeds of the Cloud Innovation Awards will go to the American Cancer Society and the Prostate Project Foundation, Citrix said.
Other award categories include cloud security, cloud mobility, SDN solution for enterprise, hottest cloud company, “industry idol” – cloud innovation, cloud services for the enterprise and NFV solution for carriers.
