A Harris Corp. web-based platform has been certified by ICSA Labs to help medical practices manage electronic health records and meet the federal government’s meaningful use rules.
ICSA Labs assessed and validated Harris’ FusionFX patient portal system as an Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology-authorized certification body, Harris said Thursday.
“The certification enables our customers to demonstrate Meaningful Use and engage their patients more deeply in care while exceeding national standards,” said Vishal Agrawal, president of Harris Healthcare Solutions.
“Our goal is to help our customers set the example for how technology can make healthcare simpler and more collaborative for the care team and their patients,” Agrawal added.
Harris built the online tool to facilitate clinician-patient communications and track prescriptions, medical test results and appointments.
