A Turner Construction project team in Los Angeles set a new Guinness World Record in February for the longest continuous concrete pour.
The team poured 82 million pounds of concrete through more than 200 trucks at the Wilshire Grand Center for a period of 18-and-a-half hours, the company announced Wednesday.
The 73-story Wilshire Grand Center will be built with 900 rooms and a swimming pool and is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
According to Turner, Wilshire will be the tallest building west of the Mississippi River.
