North Star Group will help the Interior Department build a new information technology service delivery organization under a potential five-year, $22.2 million blanket purchase agreement with DOI’s office of the chief information officer.
The company said Monday it will provide cybersecurity, cloud computing, financial analysis, organizational change management and other support services to DOI’s CIO under the department’s IT transformation initiative.
DOI intends for the organization to support 80,000 end users at department bureaus and offices.
Robert Olsen, North Star Group CEO, said the company offers professional program management and technical advisory services to both federal and private sector customers.
North Star Group bases its work on the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge, the company says.
