Leidos has won a five-year prime contract worth an estimated $16 million from Boston Properties and Konterra Realty to support information technology, help desk services, security and facilities management at a multi-tenant facility.
Work under the contract, which is part of the Facility Mega Center Operations and Maintenance vehicle, will be performed at Annapolis Junction, Md., Leidos said Monday.
Sam Gordy, Leidos group president, said the company expects the IT, security and facilities management deal to pave the way for company opportunities in the national security industry.
Boston Properties, an office real estate investment trust, and Konterra Realty, a commercial property developer in the Washington, D.C. area, are in a joint venture for work on Phase 1 of Annapolis Junction Business Park.
