A division of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has won a $4.5 million contract to provide security and surveillance services and products to an unidentified public school system in the eastern U.S.
The contract with Kratos Public Safety & Security is worth up to $10 million if the school system issues follow-on orders within the next 30 days, the company said Tuesday.
“Continuing to support our nation’s school systems is extremely important to our entire organization, and we appreciate the confidence our customers have expressed in our capabilities to support their security requirements,” said Ben Goodwin, president of the PSS division.
The division designs, engineers, deploys and integrates systems into command and control infrastructures.
