Digital Management Inc. has purchased mobile and multichannel commerce provider KnowledgePath in an effort to grow DMI’s enterprise mobility, big data, mobile and Web commerce offerings.
KnowledgePath works to integrate mobile commerce, mobile point-of-sale and mobile clienteling functions, DMI said Wednesday.
Jay Sunny Bajaj, president and CEO of DMI, said the company intends for the KnowledgePath acquisition to fulfill customer requirements for centralized services in areas such as mobile strategy, user experience design, eCommerce and data management.
Burlington, Mass.-based KnowledgePath also works to consolidate product, customer and transaction data into sales channels with financial, warehouse management, customer relationship management and inventory systems.
DMI’s mobile app development technology is built to work with platforms such as Apple iOS, Android, BlackBerry OS and Windows.
