Dell has chosen 12 students under the age of 22 to work with its employees to test, review and investigate its future education technology and offerings.
The 12 students will officially be known as Dell Youth Innovation Advisors who will work closely with Student Voice, a national nonprofit organization, during the course of the program, Dell announced March 5.
The Dell 12 under 22 participants are expected to use their experience in school and “understanding of modern learning environments” to enhance the technology aimed at education, the company said.
The YIAs, who consist of young entrepreneurs, inventors and students across the country, will represent Dell and mentor other students in their respective learning communities.
They will also give their opinions on the company’s 2020 Legacy of Good Plan, a project intended to increase university hiring to 25% of all external hiring over the next decade.

“We are excited to work with a stellar group of young people to hear first-hand their insights on learning environments and how to best leverage technology to prepare students for college and career,” Phillips added.
