Computer Sciences Corp. and VMware will jointly offer customers a tool to migrate workloads between both companies’ respective cloud computing platforms and to conduct collaborative technical training for client-facing personnel.
The companies said Thursday their hybrid cloud brokering product is intended to help users operate VMware’s vCloud Hybrid Service in conjunction with CSC’s BizCloud and CloudCompute through CSC’s ServiceMesh Agility Platform.
CSC, a member of the VMware Service Provider Partner program, will also be a reseller of vCloud Hybrid Service.
The ServiceMesh Agility Platform is built to function as single control point for governance, compliance and security across a customer’s cloud applications and environments.
