CA Technologies has been named a corporate partner of the Mack Institute for Innovation Management at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and will support research, workshops and conferences covering business impacts of technology.
The company said Wednesday the partnership also involves CA’s Silicon Valley Technology Center and Wharton’s M.B.A. campus in San Francisco.
“All businesses, no matter the product or service, are now – at their core – IT organizations,” said Sid Kumar, vice president for customer life-cycle solutions at CA Technologies.
“We’re committed to working with Wharton and the Mack Institute to bring really smart ideas and know-how to our customers to help them tackle the new software and app-driven environments in which they operate.”
The Mack Institute focuses on innovation management in businesses across disciplines and industries.
CA executives will meet with the institute’s industry partners at the Spring Conference 2014 in San Francisco.
