URS Corp. has won two separate environmental remediation contracts to help clean U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facilities in Utah and Kansas.
For the Kansas-based McConnell Air Force Base, URS will use in-situ remediation technologies to treat chlorinated and petroleum-related contaminants, the company announced Feb. 20.
URS will also provide the Utah Test and Training Range and Hill AFB in Utah with environmental remediation activities such as munitions response cleanup at active and former military ranges.
The contracts continue the company’s 25-year relationship with the Corps’ Omaha District, URS says.
