SAP America and Xamarin have partnered to help organizations customize enterprise applications for Android, iOS and Windows devices.
The alliance’s goal is to encourage developers to build personalized mobile apps to integrate with SAP technology and other back-end data sources, Xamarin said Monday.
SAP and Xamarin announced their collaboration at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
Bill Clark, SAP’s global vice president for mobile strategy, said the companies seek to offer customers a range of tools for developing multi-operating system apps.
Xamarin has unveiled a software development kit and a cloud testing service for enterprises to manage and sync data with the SAP Mobile Platform.
The software company also launched an app development course and a program to help connect customers to a global ecosystem of Xamarin and SAP partner consultants.
