RSA Security has added Secure Access Technologies to the Secured by RSA Certified Partner Program for its mobile authentication and proximity security technology that can interoperate with RSA SecurID, enabling enterprise and workforce mobility.
MobileID wirelessly connects with a computer or tablet to enable automatic inputting of the RSA SecurID code generated on the user’s smartphone, SAT said Monday.
“This mobile security solution enables organizations to mobilize their legacy applications and protect them with RSA SecurID authentication,†said Ben Ayed, SAT founder and CEO.
SAT technology has proximity monitoring, geofencing and step-up authentication to secure devices from open-session and password attacks, as well as biometric capability for iOS application updates.
According to Chad Loeven, director of partnerships at RSA, the technology integration offers a user-centric solution.
In particular, SAT highlights a single sign-on feature between the user’s computer and mobile device.
SAT will be participating at this week’s RSA Conference in San Francisco.
