Raytheon executives shared their knowledge of insider threat challenges at RSA’s recent conference.
The executives discussed ideas on how to mitigate privileged user risks and develop data protection programs, the company said Feb. 6.
Dan Velez, Raytheon senior program manager for insider threat, examined the current state of anti-virus products and dirty word queries by drawing on his previous experience building information protection programs across the government and the private sector.
The presentation aimed to help participants use technologies to run a program and to reform the auditing and monitoring requirements of a company, Raytheon says.
Roger Bache, deputy director for cyber products, discussed how organizations could minimize insider threats while Michael Crouse, director of insider threat strategies, talked about the challenges of managing privileged users.
Raytheon also demonstrated new security product offerings at the RSA Conference USA 2014.
