Randy Fuerst, Oceus Networks Inc. president and chief operating officer, has been named as one of the 100 individuals chosen by Federal Computer Week who “transformed their agency or accelerated their agency’s mission” through information technology.
Fuerst was included in the FCW 2014 Federal 100 for his leadership involving the company’s various programs in 2014 that supported NAVAIR, the FCC Deployable Aerial Communications Architecture program and the company’s deployable LTE solutions, the company announced Wednesday.
“The initiatives for which Randy received this honor, particularly being the first company to successfully deliver deployable 4G LTE networks, including secure handsets for the DOD and First Responders, have helped position Oceus Networks as a thought-leader in the industry,” said Douglas Smith, Oceus Networks CEO.
The individuals chosen for the 2014 Federal 100 will be honored at the annual black-tie Federal 100 Awards Gala on March 20 at the Washington Hilton in D.C.
