Marillyn Hewson, president and CEO at Lockheed Martin, and Phebe Novakovic, chairman and CEO at General Dynamics, are some of the most powerful businesswomen in the world, according to Forbes’ first ever top 50 list.
City Biz List reported Sunday that Hewson was ranked seventh on the list, Novakovic twelth and Ginni Rometty, IBM chairman, CEO and President was rated the second most powerful businesswoman in the world.
The list was based on the size and importance of the business, international relevance of the company, business forecast and the arc of the leader’s career, the article said.
The list also took into account the businesswoman’s standing in the international business community.
