General Dynamics‘ Mediaware subsidiary has supplied a set of portable video exploitation technology to the Australian military for analyzing and reporting of tactical image data.
The D-VEX platform is built to integrate with unmanned aerial systems and display live or recorded digital images in the battlefield, General Dynamics said Monday.
D-VEX is part of General Dynamics’ portfolio of imagery processing systems for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications.
Kevin Moore, Mediaware chief technology officer, said the technology works to help warfighters record and access ISR imagery through a laptop.
Mediaware will showcase the D-VEX at the Singapore Airshow, scheduled for Feb. 11 through 16.
