George Wilson of ECS Federal has been promoted to CEO and succeeds ECS founder Roy Kapani, who will remain as chairman of the board, Citybizlist reported Thursday.
Wilson started at the federal services contractor in 2011 as executive vice president before becoming president a year later.
“George has worked with me and the executive team to put in place the people, processes, culture, and vision to allow ECS Federal to meet our strategic objectives,†Kapani said.
Wilson previously worked at another federal services provider as an EVP and board member.
