Digital Management Inc. has partnered with Mobile Active Defense to deliver an enterprise security offering for customers to protect both active and inactive files that are stored in mobile devices.
The companies seek to help clients address mobile data security and virtual private network connection issues through the alliance, DMI said Monday.
DMI will host the technology platform as part of a suite that includes mobile device and application management, provisioning, monitoring and integration services, according to the article.
Rick Doten, DMI chief information and security officer, said the partnership was formed to combine Mobile Active Defense’s software products and DMI’s managed mobility services.
Mobile Active Defense offers a VPN server that is built with firewall, content filtering, access control and public key infrastructure features.
