DLT Solutions, a value-added reseller of Amazon Web Services and other information technology company’s offerings, has won a contract to provide cloud services to the Texas Department of Information Resources.
The products and services available to Texas education and public-sector customers through DLT can be procured at volume discount pricing, the company said Tuesday.
“Adding a new Texas DIR contract for AWS products and solutions opens up a much sought after avenue for customers in the state of Texas looking to move to the cloud,†said Rick Marcotte, CEO of DLT Solutions.
According to the company, the AWS cloud services are expected to help agencies consolidate their IT operations and achieve cost savings.
DLT added AWS to its GSA IT Schedule 70 and other government contracts in 2013.
