Exelis will unveil its latest innovations in Singapore this week, seeking to present advances in electronic warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technology that Chris Tucker, vice president of international business development, hopes will entice new partners in the region.
“We are excited to strengthen existing relationships and develop new ones during the Singapore Airshow,†Tucker said Friday.
“Because it is the leading aviation and aerospace event in Asia, our participation is critical to support our growing international business in the region,†he added.
Products the McLean, Va.-based company will showcase at the event include:
- Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite for F-16 situational awareness of radar-based events
- Low-maintenance carriage and release technology for managing payloads on manned and unmanned aircraft
- SwitchplusIP, a VoIP-based communication system for control, emergency and mobile command centers
The company will also highlight its upgrades to the ALQ-136 electronic warfare system for AH-64 Apache helicopters and i-Aware monocular for mobile soldiers.
The six-day event opens tomorrow at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
