CA Technologies and DonorsChoose.org have collaborated to launch 350 projects and help 36,855 students through learning materials for science, technology, engineering and math programs
Through the CA Technologies Double Your Impact STEM Campaign, the company has contributed more than $100,000 within the past two years in eight states, CAÂ announced Tuesday.
“Supporting STEM learning is a top priority for CA, and through initiatives like this, we hope to help provide young people with the tools they need to succeed and encourage the next generation of technology leaders,” said Erica Christensen, CA Â vice president for corporate social responsibility.
For the partnership, DonorsChoose.org provides an online platform for public school teachers to submit funding requests for classroom projects and materials.
During the campaign, the company donated an iPad Mini to an undeserved school in Massachusetts, a new computer for special needs students in Chicago and Google Chromebooks to 5th graders in Charlottesville, Va.
