Accenture has been awarded a one-year contract to refresh and maintain a human resources system for the public education system of Spain’s Junta of Andalusia.
The system is built to contain payroll generation, teacher vacancies and substitutions information and other e-services for 100,000 teachers and 4,000 schools in the region, Accenture announced Thursday.
Under the contract, Accenture will provide functional and technical advice to the Andalusia government.
The company will also provide mobile apps in an effort to make the system more accessible.
