Accenture has partnered with a Massachusetts Institute of Technology unit to start a training program for building knowledge and skills of Accenture employees on business processes and project management.
The program is intended to guide employees in helping clients develop business strategies such as outsourcing and the first group of participants could be certified in July, Accenture said Wednesday.
Mike Salvino, group chief executive for Accenture’s BPO unit, said the program is intended to help employees explore new thinking, test ideas and gain access to thought leadership from leading experts.
MIT instructors will work with Accenture Business Process Innovation Academy students through virtual and real-time classroom sessions, self-study materials and online collaborations and simulated.
